Greetings everyone!

A recent bike crash put me out of commission for a couple weeks this month. Barely any swimming and some biking.

I did keep up with my February run volume though.

Swim: 1h 02m - 2700 Yd
Bike: 10h 47m 24s - 168.84 Mi
Run: 6h 25m 58s - 36.63 Mi

Little less running this month after recovering from a HM and building the bike. Overall good month.

Bike: 34h 18m 17s - 1122.02 KM (~700miles)

Swim: 11h 13m 08s - 37,200m

Bike: 24h 06m

Run: 20h 07m 07s

Strength: 8h 08m

I have really been training a lot (for me) and hope I can stay healthy till my HIM in May and that it all pays off, after somewhat of a bad-luck year last year! One more month of training before the race! Funny--I was joking with my tri-buddy (training for the same race) that it's starting to be a part-time job. Adding up the numbers and dividing by 4, it's getting there--almost 16 hours/week. I like training....now if I could just get paid!

Swimming: 31,522 yds @ 1:29/100yd ave

Bike: 779 miles @ 20.5 mph ave

Run: 70.6 miles @ 8:13 MM ave

Some very impressive numbers from you all! Here's a 60yr/old just one year "back into it", after about 25 years "out of it":

Bike 316 miles
Run 32 miles including (2) 5K races, AG Silver in both
Swim 11,000 yards

I should be swimming at least double this and probably 3 times as much. Hope to build the swimming considerably in April. Also plan to increase the run volume about 10-15% and drop the bike volume a little.

Bike: 32h 57m 30s - 278.69 Mi

How's the yoga working out for you? I've been considering throwing that in my routine.

very very well, at first it was a bit of an impact on my training due to soreness, but I think it is helping my breathing and core strength significantly. It also kind of serves as a reset button for my week, I highly recommend it.

It'd have to wait until after IMTX for just that reason, I don't need to add anything that could throw me off at this point, but it's something I've been wanting to do.

A couple of weeks ago, we were playing around with the kids and doing hand stands leaning against a wall. My wife had no issues, but when I tried, I flopped down like a sack of potatoes. It probably had a lot to do with the heavy swim set I did that morning, but it made me realize how specialized the muscles we develop are and I'd like to use something like yoga to even that out a bit. It seems like it'd be a good way to build overall strength.

AND BALANCE. Think about running, you're balancing on 1 foot the entire time, using muscles from toe to head to create a proper alignment.

Running and pedaling (+130 miles pedaling) are up from Feb, swim is way down due to shoulder issues and the only pool I have access to being shutdown for a week. Overall very happy though and I am really excited to see my running is up and pedaling volume is almost double what it was for March of '13 when I was training for the same race, IMCDA.

Swim: 4h 08m 43s - 14301.44 Yd
Bike: 14h 43m 24s - 326.08 Mi
