Subject: RE: show me your mileage since you startedNot nearly as detailed as some of you with tracking data, but I've been logging on BT since Jan. 1, 2011 (Before that, did it in a notebook if training seriously for something, or didn't bother to log! ) Totals to date, including a 90 minute run today:
Swim: 347h20m (1,106,000m )
Bike: 587h20m (I do a lot of trainer riding so don't log distance totals. )
Run: 581h50m (Rarely track distance, so I just do time totals. Guessing I average in the neighborhood of 12 km an hour, though, maybe a bit slower for long runs.
I've been very consistent year to year with the run and swim. The only real change has been that I've been biking more over the past two years--come to realize that even though I dislike that part of tri, I can't get where I want competitively without upping my game there. Shocked to see that my bike time has now slightly exceeded my run time. Probably due to a couple of minor injuries that limited run mileage as well as a few bike focus blocks.
If we're talking lifetime mileage, having run at least a few days a week since age 11 or 12, I have so many run miles on me that my trade-in value would probably be $0.
